Winnie Chan Ferguson

Winnie's background is in finance and accounting. Originally from Alberta, she lived in Ontario, then moved to Nova Scotia to raise her family. While looking for good schools for her children, she stumbled across the South Shore Waldorf School and decided to settle down nearby. During that time, she started the administration position, substituted, trained at the Toronto Waldorf School to be a grade 3/4 math teacher, sat on the Board, and overall was a very involved parent. Winnie helped organize the first Waldorf East conference, started a regular school newsletter, and brought in the farmer's market to the school. As a new empty nester, she is now back to contribute to a place where her family made many fond memories and friends.
