and finished floors.The teachers and children love the space, especially when sunshine pours through the south facing windows. There is still work to be done: some insideshelving and baseboards, clapboard and outside trim, and permanent steps and a ramp. The Grades 3-4 children will lend a hand with the landscapingduring their Home Surroundings Block later this spring. Grades 4,5,6 children with their teacher Bev Shaw held a thank-you ceremony on March 5thcomplete with songs, a Greek poem to recognize the heroic work that has made all this a reality, and a delightful drama focusing on some of the highlightsof the project. Seeing the happy, grateful children made all the work worthwhile.
