The school is transformed into a holiday festival for the whole family! Come and have an enjoyable, relaxed holiday experience. The Holly & Ivy fair is like no other holiday event.

 

Puppet Show - Miss Moni brings magical stories to life with her hand made puppets! The puppets and settings are works of art that must be seen to be appreciated. Featuring traditional folktales and fairy tales from around the world, the puppet shows are a tradition of the Fair. Three performances, tickets available in advance online and at the door.

 

Holiday Craft Market - a wonderland of special hand-made gifts and goods! Browse an amazing variety of quality, locally made crafts and toys, winter woolens, artwork, pottery, decorations and more. Meet the makers and craftspeople behind the magic. Take home special gifts for your holiday list. 

 

Children's Store - a mini-store just for kids (no grown-ups allowed inside) of specially hand-made treasures and toys! Kids can “shop” with the Shopkeeper Fairy, using tickets available at the front door. Simple, wholesome and traditional.

 

Fun Carnival Games for children to enjoy! A variety of fun games for kids to win small treasures.

 

Gnome Grotto - Kids can venture into the Gnome Grotto, where far in the depths of the fairyland cave, the Gnome rewards travellers with tiny treasures!

 

Face Painting!  - You’re the artwork! Become a new creature or be decorated!

 

Crafts & Activities! Kids (and parents) can join in crafting and activities like candle dipping, felting, and more.

 

Hot Food& Treats at the Holiday Café! Enjoy fresh hot snacks, treats and light meals made with healthy, natural ingredients. Coffee, tea and beverages available.

 

Families and visitors can enjoy the fair and can tour the school. Staff and faculty are happy to answer questions about the South Shore Waldorf School, and what makes this school a remarkable educational experience.
